How hot?

I have a Albatron 6800Gt running on stock speeds, never been oc'ed, and its running idle at 70 degrees, and when playing games its reaches over 110 degrees is tat normal? I hate thermal take case with 5 fans and decent airflow no cables floating around any devices.

Thats pretty hot but it shouldn't damage the card unless it goes over 120C.

I bought something that looks like that link above and it went down 5ºC.

THats not even playing games or anything that is the idle temp!!!

The 6xxx series cards run hot in general, but I'm pretty sure it should not be idling at 70C, and reaching 110C. Yes, I know it has a threshold temp of 120, so it is still under manufacturer specified maximum, but do you really want your card to run on the edge, 24/7?

I'm thinking maybe the temp reading is wrong.
