yea, i don't see anything wrong with dell in the laptop department.
i've used a fair amount and they seem to run pretty good.

fyi, there are a couple of places wher eyou can build a laptop but, $$$$$$ so why bother....

My mom had an old dell laptop from about 2001 when i got my first decent pc from dell. Both were good until recently with driver issues and upgrading issues. But you got to remember things have changed alot in 5 years! Compared to buying a dell and custom building it, imo its cheaper and alot more fun..... Yes you can build laptops but can be a pain in the *** to build and can cost more than just buying one.

The 9300 is a good one. It is basically a XPS without the steroids.

Thumbs up how good is the dell inspiron 9300?

so i did buy the dell 9300 and i must say that it works like a charm, it really is a great laptop. my screen is amazing except when it is all black and u can see the light leaks, other than that, i would recommend this laptop to anyone.
