Default How do you meassure a widescreen LCD?

Hi all,

I just have a quick question... and it might be a dumb one so look out.

How do you meassure a wide screen LCD Monitor. Is it corner to corner like a CRT?

I currently have a 19 inch CRT and I'm thinking of upgrading to a 24 in widesceen. But I thought, wow sounds impressive, but if it's meassured corner to corner maybe the 24" screen is not going to be much bigger than what I have now, just wider? I hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance

Steve

I would assume it's corner to corner, but then I don't really know much about these kinds of things.

It's gonna be bigger, that's for sure. The vertical size depends on the aspect ratio.

Left or right doesn't matter.
