Default How do you get tape residue off plastic?

Some guy who assembled my case put a piece of tape on the plastic window for no reason.. wth? So I tried peeling it off, and it left a lot of stuff that I can't get off.
I've tried rubbing alcohol, dishwasher soap, etc.
is there any way to get it off? It's so annoying..

use your finger nail, scrub hard, use some whatchamacallit steel wool, or something, you could also use some tape too, put it on and rip it really fast

its risky but using a lighter to quickly heat the residue, it only take a few seconds of back and forth to get it, it will work!
wd40 % lighter fluid can stain plastic. metal will scratch

Get some Goo Gone. That stuff takes sticker residue off of glass windows, so I'm going to say it should work for this.
