How can you tell the week

I have an Athlon 64 3000+ and was wondering which numbers on the processor may signify the week it was made. Generally, does anyone know what weeks overclock the best? I googled this stuff, but I didn't get much at all.

There should be a 4 digit sequence somewhere that will have an obvious date in it. So, if you see an "05" anywhere, than you are looking in the right place. For example, if you see 0515...then it was made in the 15th week of 2005. I think on the processor you have...that is actually "embedded" in a larger sequence of numbers. Something like: xxx-xxx0515x-xxxxxx

It's been a while since I have even though about it on a 64, but that's how I remember it.

their are usually some letters in the front

CCBWE for my opteron Cabye for single core opterons and some other words for the other one, then comes the 05 or whatever year it was made it then 15 or 19 or 41 etc. that is the week its made in, TECHNICALLY earlier is better, but sometimes the early ones are crap lol.
