Here are all of the specs of my new computer I hope to build. It is my first one so I expect there to be some errors and some upgrades I could make. I want to keep it around $1,500. Any comments or input is appreciated thanks!

gigabyte > DFI LANparty

aspire > Antec or OCZ Modstream

(Corsair > TwinMOS or OCZ if u can find a good price)

thats what im gonna say.

Well, first of all, you've chosen a PCI express video card and a board with AGP video. SO you'll need to change either the card or the board. I'd change the board since it looks like everything's moving to PCI express.

here's a board I was just looking at:
Foxconn NF4K8AC-RS-1.0 ATX AMD Motherboard specs are good and it's got great reviews, and it's $65

there are lots of other choices too, but I was just looking at that one. If you want that video card, try searching on new egg under the AMD motherboard section with PCI express 16x slot 1x selected.

OK, I did some changing:

I changed the mobo and the power supply. I also changed the color of the CD/DVD Drive and I am going to get 2 of those for easier burning.

If you want to get a SATA II hard drive, dont get that mobo because it wont support it. And it only supports a 800mhz FSB. Other than that, it looks good (though your caption for you psu says aspire, not antec). Have fun building it.

Last time I check Front Side Bus was unimportant with AMD, as long as you have a compatible motherboard with the CPU itll be fine.

And the HD will work with that motherboard, but, try to go MSI or DFI. Not Asrock.
