Default hooking up playstation 2 to computer

can i hook up a ps2 to my computer if my video card in my comp has a s-video port... and play it like that

not with a video card. There's probably a way to do it with a TV Tuner card, but not just a video card.

Well, if you have an ATI all-in-wonder card, then you should be able to do that. If your card isn't an all-in-wonder, then you might have problems. Is your s-video port an in or out?

yes you need VIVO (Video In-Video Out) support or a Tuner card that supports video capture

Even if your video card does support it, I wouldn't recommend it (unless you have a big LCD monitor or something). It just makes more sence to plug it into a TV, they are bigger, and (in my case), better quality.
