Default Hi guys need help finding parts for a computer

Hi everyone. I need help finding the parts to build a computer. I want my computer to be able to run top games for the next few years but also not too expensive. I'll say 1k -1.2k budget.

My problem is I'm not sure how to make all the parts compatible.

I'd like to build my system around this processor

Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

I plan on Over clocking it too if that has anything to do with what other parts I should put in it.

Thanks for the help

I wanted to throw in that HD 5870 but most of them are unavailable, I chose to go with Evga because of the step up thing (if gtx 300 being better, step-up, if not sell for minimum loss and grab the hd 5870)

you still have some leeway, so either throw in a brand new monitor in there as well or upgrade parts as you see fit

EVGA have this step-up program where you give them your old graphics card, they give you a newer/better one and you pay the price difference. Makes upgrading much easier.

Within 90 days if you register the card, but we don't even know the release dates for the GTX 300's.

I'm sure 3 months is enough time I guess...
