Well first off it'd be good to know (specifically) what games you are interested in playing, as that would definitely give people a better idea of the parts you'll need. If your looking to play the newest games hitting the shelves for months to come than you may want to look into paying a little extra (or waiting a little while for the prices to drop) and getting a card that will support Direct X 10 like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130071

Again, thats gonna be a little more expensive, but it will definitely hold out longer with the new games. Other than that (heck even if you don't go for the 8 series card) it sounds to me like you're gonna have a pretty kickin' system!

Wow, so many Build Threads.

For that money you can get a C2D system that would Own.
Im thinking a E6800 on a ASUS P5B E board plus 2 GB Dominator DD2.
WIth some OCing that Proc will destroy all. ( I don't know how the X2 5200 Compares to any C2D in benchmarking, but From What I here nothing of AMD's does when the E6800 is OCed.)

I also highly reccomend against using that Power supply that comes with the case.
An Antec 550 Watt, Hiper 580 Watt, Enermax 535 Watt, hiper 530 Watt, and the mushkin 550 watt are my suggestions. Take your Pick.
