Help Ram Ugrading

Till now I have 1 gigabyte DDR ram in two slots for DDR cards. I also have two other slots which are for DDR2, Can motherboard be compartible with both DDR and DDR2 running at the same time, or this action will cause unexpected results such as restarting etc?

im not sure but use the "crucial scanner"

just type it into google and click on the first or second link, it will tell you lots of info about your motherboard and the ram it supports

check ur mobo manual it proberly doesn't
i had a mobo that supports SDRAM AND DDR RAM but they didn't work simuanisly too bad :/
