so this probably sucks though right will my graphics be any better and it i have better graphics on my comp will it look better on my projector

if your mobo has a pci slot a pci video card will work, just start out with a medium range of settings-1024x768/60Mz
what is the brand name of the projector your using?

your using the Dell dimesion 4600 right?

acording to an online spec sheet you have 1 AGP and 2 pci slots that are open,
(unless of course you have a modem and souncard installed)
the pci slots are located on the bottome left hand side of the mobo looking at it from the left hand side of the case.
