Help With New SSD

Need some help folks. I decided to add an SSD to my system and install a new operating system and use my existing hard drive for storage, pics, music etc. I installed Windows 8.1 on my ssd runs fine. Now I have my old drive which still has everything on it. I hit some of the executables for programs on there and some don't work now like Itunes. My question is. Is there a way to fix them? Also do I now just delete Vista off the old drive or will that mess anything up? Just not sure where to go from here. I'd like some things from my old drive on the SSD but not everything. Thanks for any advice.

Most programs have to be reinstalled after a fresh OS install regardless of carry over. Especially programs that insert registry entries.

You'll need to backup any pics/ect you want off that drive, format it, then reinstall your programs you want on to the HDD. Just change install destination.
