Help on New PC build...

Hi Guys,

Ok so I am building a new PC but I am not too sure what I want. It must be able to run games e.g. Battlefield 2 at a min. I have about £750 which is about $1500 to spend (after I sell my current PC).

I know I want a core 2 duo processor E6400 (2.13 GHz) and at least 1 GB of RAM (probably two). I was looking at the nVidia 7600 GT graphics card.

Any suggestions?

Ok so you need a complete system???


And is it for present or in a couple of months time??

£750 actual price or prior to tax as after tax it is around £900???

Dont get 2 7600GTs, just get one, it will benefit you cost wise more right now especially with summer right around the corner, and i can tell you there are going to be some serious cards out this summer. Also, one 7600GT is enought for BF2.

where did sli video cards come from???? I am surprised

Sli came from nivdia like croosfire came from ati. All They are is technology for running to video cards at once. I belive they will handle more then 2 vcs also

No I don't mean literally lol I must have missed something as I cant see any mention of sli prior to hmammen unless he misread the 1gb of Ram (maybe two)
