Btw, what about the hd7870? Between that and the 660 you talked about?

7870 and 660 are kind of neck and neck depending on game title.

Heh, yeah from my research that's what I thought. But generally from reviews and comparisons the 7870 comes out slightly on top, plus I'm kind of biased towards it since I've always owned ATI/AMD (even though this last one got messed up, it still gave me 4.5 strong years ), and it is an Radeon HD like the previous one.

Another thing is that there a whole bunch of different "versions" of it? Take this link for example:

I searched for "Radeon HD7870" and it got me 16 different results. What are the differences?

I notice some of them are the exact same one except they come with cables (eg. HDMI) so that varies the price, but even so that leaves me with 4 or 5 different ones!

Just get whatever is the cheapest one. Each card from each manufacturer is basically the same. Just a difference cooler and different bundles.

There isn't really any great difference and I should go with the cheapest? Are they all compatible and will fit with my board?
