Help my computer keeps stalling.... due to graphics card fan ??

My computer keeps locking up... I'm pretty sure its my graphics card because the monitor reads no input when it happens.

I pulled the case apart and found out my fan on my 8800GTS was barely spinning. Is this a common problem??

Can someone link me to a replacement fan please ?? Think this will solve the problem ?

The computer could be locking up due to the slow fan speed, which can cause the graphic card to overheat.

Try increasing the fan speed, and while you're at it, you should monitor the graphic card's temperature.

If that doesn't work, I would suggest something along the lines of this:

I got one on my 8800gt, and its fantastic... Mines the older one, so it's thinker, but i love it.

I would suggest finding thin fans... the rad cools great so you don't need huge cfm fans either.

that looks good thanks. But 50 bucks ?? I was hoping for like a 5 dollar option for a direct bolt on replacement or upgrade fan on the graphics card.

Ah... I'll say it's worth 50, but yha, for an 8800.. maybe not...

However, they do fit the new gtx cards now.

Did you try increasing the fan speed like I said before? It could also be barely spinning because of dust build up. Check up on that.

If you really want a fan, grab a 120mm and use zipties to mount it. That's what I have on my card and it keeps it very cool.
