help me upgrade..

I just purchased a pc from a nice gal on another fourms and recived it yesterday. I need to upgrade this computer system so I can throw it in my office as my PU3rd pc.

It's a Compaq here are the specs

Compaq Presario
Model# S4020WM

AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2400+
2.00Ghz
352Mb RAM
80GB Hard Drive
Windows XP Home

I want to buy some more things for this computer so I can kind of do some upgrades to it.

I want to get some more ram, but I dont know where to get some good low costing ram that will work for this computer. I need something aroud 512MB or 1-2GB's. I need a dvd driver or something that I can play dvd's with. Also Im in need of a video card that can play COD2 with this system, I was looking at an 6600 GT but which kind will work with this system?
