help me pick a new video card.

it's good, but for the same price you could get this gts 450, which will equal or surpass the 250 in terms of performance.

well is ok is too late the card is alredy shipped lol new egg is working fast this week considering i placed the order about 4hrs ago or so.
the 250 will do for now and my buddy has a 240 and he says it works like a charm so i shoulbe be ok this pc isnt that great anyway ill most like be a media center wen i build a nice rig later on.

OK guys i got the card today is installed and ready.
my friend let me borrow his call of duty black ops to test out. it runs good but i still see some minor skip lag.
the card is a lot better than what i had more ram and all. I'm running windows 7 64 and it gives it a rating of 6.8 out of 7.9 that's above average so that's good.
Now what i want to know is if im better of going back to xp for more game performance or ill need to do some serious optimization on win7 to game smoothly?

Going to xp won't help much i believe. Saddly i bet its your cpu.

Win7 is pretty much on with XP from my understanding.

Also ensure the games fully pathed
