If you're looking for places to buy components try NewEgg or TigerDirect. Concerning LED lights, trying buying a case already equipt with lights.

Here's my advice: get an AMD, single core, socket AM2 processor, that will allow you to upgrade in the future. Also, try dual channel RAM manufactured by either Corsair, Patriot, or OCZ. Get a motherboard made by Asus, MSI, or ABit. You shouldn't pay any more than $8 for a floppy drive, although you should have one.

I always found buying a monitor as the most annoying part of building a computer because I can never find a great price on one. You can probably get a good 17" monitor for about $130 - $200.

If you want the best graphics card to handle all of your gaming needs for the lowest price you want the x1800xt by saphire.
