Default Help me build a system. New to buidling.

Here's what I want. this machine will be the workhorse of my home lab/network. I'm new to building so I really don't know what to look for over others.

It's going to have at least a RAID 1 or a RAID 5 if possible.

I don't really game, but still need good video

Intel CPU

I will be running a Windows OS, either XP Pro or Vista Ultimate

Obviously max RAM

Sata as much as possible

DVD/CD Burner

I will add a Blu-Ray burner when they come down in price.

700w Power supply?

Um, don't really know what else to put. Suggestion?

My suggestion? Go to newegg, filter the products you need by price, and sort them by customer ratings. Pick and choose what products you think will work for you put them on a public wishlist and show your lineup to us and we will critique it. It is really hard to configure an entire system for a complete stranger based on a single post, imo. Even if you live outside the US, newegg is a great place to start. They have a huge amount of products and an even bigger amount of customers that give great reviews. Also, newegg has great detailed buying guides to show what to look for in the product. This whole process will take some time.

eMachines T5062
Single-core AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (UC'd to 1.06 GHZ)
256MB 667MHz DDR2 - Nvidia GeForce 6150SE (integrated)
20GB 4800rpm IDE - Eight channel (7.1) Audio
Windows ME... and Playing Crysis at 1 fps
