Default Help me build my first computer?

Hi, I'm pretty new to the whole building a PC thing, but it seems like it'll be fun, and I like the idea of learning more about it/ being able to further upgrade the PC in the future.

Right now, all I want it for is playing games, and downloading movies and music.

I could go out and just get a dell or something else, but I know it wouldn't last long at all, and, with your help, I could build a much better machine for close to the same cost.

I'm looking at the 700-800 dollar range (in Canadian dollars), not including monitor, keyboard, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
