Default Help with GPU and stuff

My current set up is ASRock N68C-GS, AMD II X3 450 3.2GHZ, 4GB PC1600 DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD, SolidGear 550W PSU and a GeForce 8400 GS. I'd like to watch some HD movies and do some old school gaming, like the Sims and AOE II. I don't wanna spend more than $150 on a GPU. Which would be the best GPU for my needs and budget?

Think you can find a 7850 these days for about 150. If you can't a 650ti or a 260x. THose would actually game rather nicely.

Is my PSU okay to handle those choices?

What about a Radeon 7750? I was looking at its specs and was impressed the site says 400W minimum

Almost all low end cards say that, but the max power that GPU can pull is 75w. So even a 250w PSU could push that card and a small CPU.
