help with first build C2d

pretty soon i am going to start building my first gaming computer. mainly for CS:S and was just wondering if all these parts are good. I think i've picked some good parts but idk about the motherboard. my budget is between $600 and $800 with everything except a mouse case and monitor.

First off, replace the hard drive with a Western Digital. Way more reliable, and only a dollar more:

I would get one stick of memory for upgrading purposes.

kk ill get that hard drive but i want a good gfx card that will last me until i get out of High school in 2 years then ill build my dx10 system.
7600gs just isnt what i want plus i have the money

someone give me a link to a good mother board that supports C2D

You'll also need DDR2. I don't think you can purchase a DDR Core 2 Duo ready board.
