The timing is alright but better could be had for a few dollars more. from what I see alot on this forum is people getting good PC2 6400 at 800 mhz with 4-4-4-12 timing and overclocking to 1066 with better timing but I'm sure someone that knows a little more about it than me will chime in, As far as the 1066 ram, you can get these with 5-5-5-15 A little better than the OCZ at 5-6-6-18 I've never been a fan of OCZ, Heard too many horror stories about computability but That's just my opinion. These are the Gskill with the better timing Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
Ok so long story, I am going to return my processor (e7400), and graphics card (VisionTek 4870 512mB) because they were really over priced. (GXF Card - 250 CPU - 150) So I should I go AMD for the best bang for the buck or Intel for performance. Then that also brings me to the GFX Nvida or Intel. This is what I came up with.
Plus, if you get an ATI card, you'll be able to add another in the future for Crossfire with that motherboard. WIth Nvidia, you can't SLI on that board.
