Guys, I don't know if anyone here remembers, but I'm building my lady a computer with some components I found really cheap. I found a mobo for 5 bucks, processor for 50, video card was retail though. The hard drives were a dollar a piece. Anyway, you get the picture.
Does anyone have any experience with a motherboard with an AGP 4x slot? I repeat, it does not have 8x capabilities.
Now the pretty little lady has an MX4000 for the slot, but I really don't think that'll be enough for her gaming she's going to do. We're gonna get her a copy of Age of Empires III next week.
I need to get some opinions. What's the best card you all think I can get that won't choke too bad on a 4x slot? I was sortof thinking somewhere around a 6200. I really have no idea, as I've never dealt with a 4x slot. Thanks in advance.
