yea, i know you mentioned it before and i said you didn't have to get the combo, just buy the ram by itself.

that particular set that was in the combo is out of stock though.
this other set will also work.

some guy near me has a ASUS M2NPV-VM motherboard and a AMD 64 Athlon X2 5600+ 2.8Ghz AM2 Processor
and 2 GB (2x1GB) Gskill DDR2 800 Memory all for 185.00 is that a good set up or stay away ????

not for $185.

you could get that dual core/mobo combo i posted before and 2gigs of ddr3 for almost the same price and it would be a faster setup.
