Default Heat Sink CPU Paste

Let me summarise this quick

A friend unknowingly claned off all the paste in between the cpu and the heat sink (attached to his cpu), there is no good conduction and almost no heat being removed meaning no cooling

Would this be a good product to purchase in aid for him?

MX-2 seems to get a lot of recommendations around here:

NCIX.com - Buy Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Paste NON-ELECTRICAL Conductive 4 Gram - MX-2T In Canada.

Pick up some TX-2 or MX-2 if they have it.
