Anyone suggestions if this would be a good HDTV for its price remember this is my first HDTV buy and I want something under $1000

I wouldn't get that one. The cheap ones are very dull and can't be seen from many angles.

Your better off with a smaller quality TV.

If you're going to spend that much on an HDTV, make sure you watch it for a little bit before you buy. If your happy with the way it looks then buy it.
