HDD Type

Could some one tell me what the type of hard drive this is "HITACHI_DK23EA-40" Like SATA, ATA, etc.

It is a 40GB 4200rpm ATA100 HDD.

I am pretty sure it is 40gb, but the other information there is what I am trying to figure out. I got the drive name from the device manager.

So what is the interface? "ATA100" does not appear as a type under notebook hard drives on Newegg.
