I am about to hit the order button on
Newegg.com - VisionTek 900241 Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
It is to replace the ATI x700 i bought with the computer.
The computer is a A1214n, XP 32bit (new case, power supply, 2gb RAM)
HP Pavilion a1214n Desktop PC Product Specifications HP Pavilion a1214n Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
I just wanna make sure it will work with my system.
i know My system will prob bottleneck the card to some point. but i can hardly play WOW on with the x700 with my 24 inch HD monitor that i Got for Free.
I updated the PSU to a 600w. it has 2 6-pin connectors so i'm good their.
Im hoping i can play WOW at 1920/1080 on good res. instead of 1200/9xx at all lowest settings.
if there is any reason this WONT work please let me know! and how much will my system bottleneck the card?
