This actually is more of a software issue, but nonetheless, I'll post it.
I recently built a new puter and havne't until tonight gotten around to really testing out the DVD drive.
I popped in Bad Boys II, Pirates of the Carribean, and then King Kong, and all three had the same problems.
WHen I played them in WIndows Media PLayer, some no-name free player from Download.com, and in that built-in player that comes bundled with most DVDs they all exhibited the same trait -
massive verticle lines/relics. There are about 25 - 30 blurry vertical lines that go through the picture. Further, the picture is blurrier than anything I've ever seen on a computer.
My monitor is a 20.1inch Acer Widescreen running 1600x1000 resolution.
What's teh problem??!!
