Aite hooked it up to an old CRT monitor I had lying around from back.Problem isnt there. Now what?

I requested another replacement. I have a 3 year warranty so thats good atleast but I wish I could tackle the problem head on. everytime I post this people are dumbstruck by the problem

It's just so weird. I mean, most stuff Sony makes is high quality and dependable. I gave my little brother a 17" sony lcd and he's been using it for 6 months with nary an issue. I don't think I've ever had any complaints about them at my job, either. Atleast your warranty is three years, though, so you've got some recourse. Tough luck I guess, hopefully the replacemnt will do fine.

Not really i got a 27" tv and it lasted 1 month and then when i turned it on it sounded like a bomb was ticking inside of it and no screen came up. So i just took it to the junk yard. I got it from my uncle who just bought it and had it for 3 days then got sick of it so i bought it from him really cheap. If i would've bought it from a store i would've had a warranty and just shipped it to sony but my uncle never gave me the reciept or anything. Oh well. I never buy anything from sony anymore.

Samsungs lcd's are very dependable and reliable. I just love samsung.
