Nothing "happens", it just doesnt run as well as I think it should. Day of Defeat Source on full produces a 35 FPS average... Correct me if im wrong, but that seems low for my set up. Thanks for your help!

Sorry I meant after you reformat does preformance stay the same? And also what kind of settings are you running on in your games?

I reformat every couple months and performance is always the same.

I run settings on full everything. I cut back down in HL2 with no HDR, Low Shader Detail and a few others and still the same results. Im running 1024x768. Now, I know the game would probably run fine in Medium or Low, but I know that my system should be able to run this.

I'm thinking it might be a power suppply issue, since your psu only has 18amps on the 12V rail.

Oh yea and all those games completely maxed out would give you lag.

Mine's just the ATI built X800.

If you say that Half Life 2 will give me lag maxed out - I'll believe you. I just was hoping for the best.
