This is my second thread regarding a new computer now, so sorry in advance if it's annoying anyone. I'm not in any hurry to buy a new desktop at the moment so I thought I'd definitely take my time before I spend the money.

I've been looking at the i5 760 recently, and I'm wondering whether it would be worth going for an Intel build based on that CPU. The orginal CPU I was going to get would have been this Phenom II X6 1055T. Whereas the i5 760 2.8Ghz (Lynnfield) costs £5 more, but for what I believe to be a better chip.

Now I'm sure there will be something, such as motherboards being more expensive for Intel, or something that makes Intel more expensive, but that CPU looks to be good for the price. Is the i5 worth it?
