So I am looking at hard drives and I am debating which one might be best for me. So which is more important: The cache size or the "speed." I am looking at these two:
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar Black WD6402AAEX 640GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
One has a 64 mb cache and the other has a 32 mb cache. One also has a "speed" of 3 gb/s, the other is 6 gb/s. So what is more important? Which is the better drive and why? Also, if there is a better drive that I did not see in that price range, please let met know!
Thanks!
