Default hard drive upgrade

I have just cloned my old hard drive onto a new & larger one. When I replace the new with the old in my computer & start the system, I get a message, Preparing your Desktop”. After a while this is then followed by a rundll32.exe error indicating, “….may not have the appropriate permission…”. I thought that simply replacing the old drive with the new, it would boot-up normally. Do I need to tweak something first?

Default Re: hard drive upgrade

Try boot it in Safe mode first, I think that new drive needs some driver update first to be fully functional.
