Default hard drive switch

ok, i'm brand new to this forum, but i have a question, i figure someone on here can shed some light on the subject. . .

i have 2 hard drives right now, one for the OS {MS windows XP PRO SP2} and a few other programs and the other is my default storage....

I'm running out of storage space, and just purchased a 300gb hard drive to suit my needs. Also, I'm going to sell my OS hard drive to a friend, so I will need to somehow someway copy my OS and everything over to my storage hard drive..... i'm sure it's possible, i just don't know how, if anyone could spare the time to tell me how, i would appreciate it.

thanks.

Put them both on the same IDE channel and use the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard" would be my best guess.
