Default Hard drive mrs

So far i've been given advice on such topics as mouse mats to fan controllers but now onto the serious stuff.

Hard drive

I'm looking for a fast quiet sata hard drive around about the 300gb mark......what's recommended?

^^^that's a nice hard drive, one of the best (& cheapest for the space offered) on newegg. I'd go with it.

I recommed using Seagate Drives. They are my personal preference.... nothing other than Seagate is used in my PC's.

It does look a good buy can you tell me if it's quiet and fast.

I was recommended this drive - Hitachi deskstar T7K250

It's supposed to be very fast because it's on two platters but requires some sort of tool from hitachi to unlocks it's speed.
