GTX 460 SLI

I was watching the a video on youtube by EVGA on how to set up SLI. Well they said said that you needed "2 EVGA 460's and and EVGA mobo". Now whats got we wondering is the fact that all the parts were by EVGA. So I ask, do you need the same brands on the cards and mobo to set up SLI?

I'm pretty sure they're just trying to advertise their own products, but then again, that's why I'm asking.

Nope. I ran a Gigibyte board, a bfd gtx 260-216, and a xfx gtx 260-216.

Any board, with 2 or more pci-e x8/x16, and any 2 or more same model numbers..

Indeed. Asus board and EVGA 480's here, works fine.
