Hi guys, i could really do with your help. I have the opportunity to buy this computter tonight for £399. Is it worth it. Its a brand new system:

Motherboard FOXCONN QUAD CORE SKT 775
Hard Drive 1 160GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA II (Major Brand)
Optical Drive 1 (Top-3-Brand) DVD RW +- Dual Layer Rewriter (Black)
Video Integrated VIA Intel 384mb Graphics
Audio Integrated VIA Realtek ALC653 AC'97 6-channel Audio

Case Tower PC ATX Case (Black/Silver)
Power Supply ATX 400W Power Supply
Warranty 1 Year RTB Warranty, 7 Day Money Back Warranty

Software
Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Nero 7 Premium
(Full Genuine Versions)

~$776 for a Pentium D, a gig of RAM, 160GB HDD, onboard graphics. No deal, man, no deal.

I would almost sell you my rig for that (almost, mind you), and it would rip that setup a new one.

Really? how much do you think it is worth? I don't really want to have to buy coponents and make my own, so my options are quite limited. Short of being ripped of by pcworld or dell

The Dell Vostro's are pretty nice. I would actually recommend them and have.

Building your own is actually pretty simple. The hardest part id deciding on your parts, but that is what we are here for. Mainly all you need is to post a budget and where you are geographically (country) so people can post links to stuff you can actually order. Newegg wouldn't do you any good other than to look up parts.
