I was looking at graphics cards on tigerdirect, and saw that many cheap 256mb pci-e cards say "128MB DDR / Supporting 256MB with Turbocache". What does this mean exactly?
Is it really worth it to buy one of these cheap pci-e cards? I noticed that there are more expensive cards with better memory and clock speed... For example, this one 128mb/256mb w/ turbocache GeForce 6200 has 64bit ddr memory with a bandwidth of only 3.2GB/sec, whereas this one 256mb GeForce 7800 has 256bit ddr3 memory with a bandwidth of 40GB/sec.
