They are close. I have a personal preference to Nvidia cards but like to show the options from both. The one I linked was the 1gb model so for higher resolutions it would be a tiny bit better ie. 1920x1200 and above.

maybe you should wait a few months until the new cards come out..im sure prices will drop on the older cards, which might allow you to afford a more powerful GPU

i think this is what i'll do. i dont have much money right now, and id rather spend a lot since i think i have enough power for just about anything ill be interested in. so thank all of you! it feels like im so outdated with graphics though.. nvidia's coming out with the 300 series soon arent they?

how about i go with, not nvidia? lol i wish companies would make realistic estimates for releases x3
