Default Graphics Card Help

Hey, im new to this computer stuff and i need some help...
I need to know whats the best graphics card i can get for a budget of £170
I also need to know if its compatible with my pc at the moment,
If you need to know any specs or anything else like that, please ask.
This graphics card needs to be able to handle battlefield 3 at least on mid graphics.
Anyway, im new to this forum and to upgrading stuff etc.. so thx

What are your computer specs, and what is your PSU manufacturer and wattage?

my specs are: intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 3.20 GHz
4gb RAM

if you need anything else can you tell me how to find it



ok what is my psu manufacturer and how do i found out my wattage and psu manufacturer?

Open your case and look at the sticker on your PSU.

That is a good card, but we want to make sure he has a swell power supply that will support it.

hi again, i have my computer opened up and i can see a sticker on the psu, but what bit do you need to know?

PSU:

ok im gona tell you all the stuff on it :P

HIPRO

Model: HP-P3017FP3 LF

AC input:
(50-60Hz):
100-127v~/9A
200-240V~/4.5A

DC output:
Shall not exceed 160W
max output power 300W
(it also has alot more other stuff on the output, however there is quite alot and im not sure if its necessary to tell you all
of it. Just say if you need to know it or not)

It's a 300W, probably an OEM PSU. You need at last a 450W with that gfx gurusan posted. (I think) If you get a 600-650, you will have room to grow if you ever upgrade more.
