The 520 GT listed should be fine for watching movies. What do you mean by "gaming"? What resolutions, games, and quality do you wish to play at?

Edit: The 520 is more powerful than the 6200 you listed. The 520 would be better for games and video.

The 520's pretty good for that purpose.

Do you know what p[ower supply you have? You can read it on the side of the power supplky if you open the side up.

It'll be in Watts, most likely 300W or about.

That infos needed to best help you out.

Welcome to TF too.

Thanks for the replies and the welcome

Opened up my case, DC Output: 400 Watts. I think my current PSU will support the new video card?

Edit: Just to become more self-sufficient, how do I find out what PSU will support what video card?
Thanks.

Google is a valuable resource for that.
Try looking up things such as "GT 520 amperage requirement" and "GT 520 wattage requirement"
What brand of power supply do you have?
Chances are, it's a low quality power supply. If you have the funds (50-60 if you live in USA) then I suggest upgrading the power supply aswell.

Google: gt 520 minimum power supply
"Minimum recommended 300w power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amps."

On the label with the wattage it should have amps listed as well.

Thanks guys. Next time I'll be asking Google :P

The label says: +12VA === / 17A MAX
Underneath that: +12VB ===/ 10A MAX
Underneath that: +12V === / 0.8A MAX

Looks like my PSU has a 17 Amp max... won't work with the video card .
Thanks again guys.

Your honest best place is evga for nvidia cards.. They always list the required wattage...

It looks like you have 2 rails, for about 25A total, You should/might be okay.

Can you post a link to the model or a picture of the label?

Here is a photo of my label.

And here is a link to a (trustworthy idk?) website with my PSU specs:
400W HP Power Supply 51876134 (PS-6401-08HT) for HP Pavilion Desktop PC

Looks like I'm good to go?

You should be okay.
