Graphics Card

I currently have a Foxconn 755A01/K8S755A Series motherboard - with a RADEON 9800 PRO Graphics Card - Where would it be logivally for me to go to get a better graphics card?

Thats an AGP card isnt it? i would wait until you have enough money to buy a new mobo and card because theres no point in buying another agp card. They are slowly dying. How much you got to spend?

Well this comps only a year old now - so not planning on replacing unless i can just swap the motherboard and keep the Processr

What processor you got? You will be able to get a new mobo with pci-e slot for a better gfx card yes. If you want to spend a bit more money that is.

Oh thats even better then. That is socket 939 yeah? im pretty sure it is. so whats ur budget you can easily pick up a pci-e slot mobo or even an SLi one if you wanted that would mean you wouldnt need to upgrade for a while.

Not sure what socket it is - The motherboard components, is the only hardware i know little about - Money isnt a problem really - but the best one for the cheapest price really

I just checked and its a socket 754 cpu so we need to get that socket mobo. Do you want SLi or just a space for one card? BTW where do you live UK, USA ??

I live in the UK - I guess SLi is the better and more modern update - but is it worth the money?

Ok that makes it easier as i live in UK too. Yeah you should get an SLi board it doesnt mean you have to buy 2 cards but it will save u money from buying a single card mobo and having to upgrade again soon.
Ah just found out that u cant get SLi on socket 754 mobo's :s
