Some of you might remember when I got my Zotac GT 440 awhile back, for my Linux rig running Ubuntu 12.04.

ZOTAC GeForce GT 440 [ZT-40702-10L]

It ran all good and pretty, but the problem is with dual screens. I tried DVI + HDMI, DVI + DP, HDMI + DP, nothing seems to work. It's like it only supports one output. All connections work OK with one monitor.

Do I need to get a GT 440 that comes with 2 x DVI?

As this: Newegg.com - ZOTAC ZT-40708-10L GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

I don't think this is OS dependant. Doesn't even show both screens on Post.

I don't think so, either port combo should work. I should mention, I couldn't get my dualies to run on my 465 with Ubuntu 12.04 either. They would work fine in Backtrack but only mirror.

I don't think so. I don't think it's the card itself. Like I was saying, I had problems with my 465 in Ubuntu running dual cards and I have dual DVI as well.

I found it out. For those who care:

You have to go into NVIDIA X-Server options and have it detect it, then set it as a seperate X screen. Also, to expand it so you can drag it onto another screen, you have to enable Xinerama.

(Help from people at Neowin, and a little messin' around :p )
