Default Graphic card

We are getting a new graphics card sometime soon and i was wondering if the GeForce 6600 was a good graphics card. I looked online to see what it looked like....What are thoes ports on the card for...Were getting some PCI Express card not one on the mother board....

Ports on the card? uh.. not sure.. however, a big YES to the Geforce 6600 - just make sure it has a "GT" after the 6600. reason = substantially more power for your $$$

What are you using the cards for?
A+, Network + , HP Certified Tech and MCP

Specs: AMD Phenom II X6 1095T, Asus M477TD, 8GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 7-8-7-24 1T, 128GB Crucial M4 SSD, ATi HD4650, W7, 27" HL272 Monitor

If you are talking about this:

That is the molex connector which you connect the power to.

If it is this:

Then that is the SLI bridge. Make sure your motherboard has a PCIE slot.

If none of the above, maybe the capacitors?

Rave reviews on the 6600. Good solid card for the price. I agree with getting the "GT" version too. Might be a little more $$ but it will pay off.
