here is a 9600GT, faster than a 4670, for $80

Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGE96512GTOCBE GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

i would only recommend a 4670 if you are in need of a card that does not consume much power or make a lot of noise and heat.

Then explain why it's above the 9600gt and 4670?

the 786 model has 92 stream processors, vs the 512s 48.

On that specific model, I wouldn't touch it.. the GDDR2 bottlenecks it

The one that's good is the GDDR3 9600GSO that doesn't have 48 shaders
