Hi, I think I burned myself out on info overload. It's been 2010 since my last build so here's the progress thus far on this old remodel & new build.

I bought this mobo
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128835

and am about to buy this mobo

They both list PCI Express 2.0 x16 in their specs but this page has all Express 3.0.

Is this going be compatable and which do I choose for the low $100 range or do I need to go to the $200 to match the mobo? I'll need two GPU's. There's no serious gaming that I can tell. Some Call of Duty, minecraft and whatever STEAM puts out. There will be some video recording of gaming action which seems to be quite taxing.
Audio work including making some digital music will also be done.

I've also chosen these cpu's and ram's

Mucho thanks for any input, tips or advise

Hmm, I think they will be compatible in my humble opinion. I really like the first link for the CPU's that you mentioned.

AMD FX?
I would go Ryzen as not only will you get a better processor but a very good boost from your old hardware.
Have you bought any new parts yet?
With Ryzen you can go low cost on the motherboard but go high on the processor as all ryzen processors can overclock.
Piledriver at this time seems like a fools errand.
