Default Is this GPU good for mid range stuff?

My mission was a silent gpu which can play the likes of Battlefield 2142 etc

Is this good for that? 426018336-0278 - 1GB Gainward 9500 GT, 800MHz GDDR2, GPU 550MHz, Shader 1400MHz, 32 Cores, D-Sub/ HDMI/ DL DVI-I - Scan.co.uk

You are limiting yourself greatly by saying you want something silent, but from memory this is the best one:

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GV-N98TSL-1GI GeForce 9800 GT 1GB Silent Cell 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Now sure where to find it in the UK though.

Thanks mate, yeah i know im limiting myself but im no longer into hardcore gaming, so sitting here sufing and whatever i dont want to be hearing the gpu fan, its pointless unless im going to buy a new game.
Dont forget the most intensive game ill be playing is probably Battlefield 2142, so i dont really need a 9800 do i? hence my suggestion above, if its good enough

P.s i know ive got a thread below this, but i wanted quick replys on the above one.

That (9800 GT)card is huge. Make sure you have room.

EDIT* Gainward? Never heard of it. If you trust the company , it MIGHT be good enough. Otherwise , a 9800gt is probably a better bet.

Gainward is an acceptable brand imo, nothing amazing though and if another brand can be chosen, do so.

Slap one of these on a better card.:
Newegg.com - ARCTIC COOLING ACCELS1 Rev 2 VGA Cooler - VGA Cooling

They do work as I had one on my 3850.
