he wont be maxing it out on a 7600gs dont worry lol, i can just max it at 35 fps, and 1280x1024.

Does it need to be new? I would get one on ebay because a new card for 50 quid isnt going to get you squat.

I would look on ebay for a 7900GT/x1800xt/x1900/x1950 range

This is a good card for the money.

I wouldnt trust eBAY for any computer component.

That card is more than £50. And it will be able to run new games at acceptable settings easily.

the x1950gt is a good choice.

as for things on ebay...I built my entire civic from parts on ebay, and have built all my puters from parts on ebay and have never had any problems.

You just have to shop smart.

The 1950GT aboslutely RIPS the 8500 to shreds. There is no comparison.
